    Property Description

    This Ontario cottage rental is located in the Doc Evans Bay area of Chandos lake, approximately 10 minutes from the Town of Apsley for all your needs. It is a 2 story Viceroy cottage, approximately 1750 sq. feet that was renovated and had an addition put on in 2013. The main floor features an open kitchen, living and dining area all under cathedral ceilings and with floor to ceiling windows overlooking Chandos Lake. There is also a master bedroom with queen bed and 4 pc. washroom (with washer/dryer) on this level. The second floor consists of 3 additional bedrooms. There is also a 2 pc. washroom on the second level. The cottage has a large “L” shaped deck with glass rails where you can have a family dinner enjoying the beautiful sunsets. From the deck, there are steps to the lot where you will find the magnificent campfire area where you can enjoy the starry skies while toasting marshmallows and making smores! From the campfire pit, professionally landscaped stone steps take you down to the lake dock where you can relax and spend the day at the lake.
    The water is approximately 1-2 feet deep at the shoreline but drops quickly to 10 feet at the end of the dock. The dock has a swim ladder and a swim raft for you to enjoy is further out. This is a beautiful spot in which to relax and enjoy all that cottage life has to offer!
