    Property Description

    This cottage is located on Lake Katchawannoka, only a 10 min. drive from the Village of Lakefield. You can also boat right into town. The main floor of the cottage has an open kitchen & living area with two bedrooms directly off to the side. There is also a sunroom & deck overlooking the lake. The finished walkout basement (sliding door walkout) features two bedrooms & a large living area. The 1.4 acre lot is grassy with trees along the property lines & gently slopes down to the dock. The depth at the end of the 42 foot dock is approx. 4 feet & the depth at the floating raft is approx. 6 feet & can be weedy. For great swimming, a very large natural sand bar (with no cottages) is located directly across the lake -a 7 min. paddle boat or 2 min. canoe ride away. The sand bar is a really great spot to relax and play in the water, it is very large and long! This lake is part of the Trent Severn Waterway so you can boat to other lakes as well! This is a great spot to play horseshoes, volleyball, badminton, croquette or simply relax & enjoy cottage country!
