The cottage is nicely appointed and decorated with a full kitchen, satellite TV, and sliding door walkout onto the deck.
    The cottagers’ common beach area is sandy and well maintained with no public access and features a sandy beach area for children, swim raft, children’s play set, docks, and picnic area. This area is great for the bird watcher as many species abound in this area, and the cottage roads in this private community offer lots of areas to bike. So bring your canoe and bike to explore and enjoy this lake and area!

    Thanet Lake is a private lake community where only cottage owners have access, no public access.
    The cottagers common beach area is great for both children and adults with great sand beach area on shore! (There is lots of room here to find a private location ) There is a small playground picnic tables & terrific sandy beach area with gradual entry and soft sandy bottom Walk to beach 5-6 minutes, drive to beach 2 minutes.
    Distances from Toronto & Ottawa – approx. 2.5 hrs.
    Oshawa approx. 2 hrs.
    Peterborough approx. 1 hour
    Bancroft approx. 30 minutes
    The village of Coe Hill is approx. 10 minute away along the Ridge Road which is a scenic drive along Wollaston Lake. On Saturdays, there is a Farmer’s Market where you can purchase fresh breads, jams, honey & vegetables.
